As a regional healthcare leader, Bayhealth continues to attract highly-qualified physicians to meet our community need. The Bayhealth Family Medicine, Dover practice is proud to welcome one of Dover’s own, Angela Debo, DO, who grew up locally and is pleased to return to our area to practice medicine. Dr. Debo joins Family Medicine Doctors Brintha Vasagar, MD, MPH, FAAFP; Pavandip Virdi, MD; and Kandis Samuels-Leutzinger, MD, MPH, who also offers OB-GYN care; as well as Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health Suzanne L. Chafin, LPCMH. All providers are accepting new patients at the Bayhealth Family Medicine, Dover practice which specializes in taking care of whole families—from infants to geriatrics.
“We’re so excited that Dr. Debo has joined us,” said Dr. Vasagar. “The more primary care physicians we have the better equipped we are to provide thorough and compassionate care to keep local families healthy. Dr. Debo is a wonderful addition to our team, and the fact that she is a Dover native makes it even more special that she is here caring for her community.”
Dr. Debo is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she received her Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degrees. She completed a family medicine residency program at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Susquehanna in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Dr. Debo also served as an assistant professor of family and community medicine with Penn State Health.
Dr. Debo is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association. She is taking new patients at Bayhealth Family Medicine, Dover, located at 1074 South State Street. The practice is home to Bayhealth’s Family Medicine Residency Program where resident physicians train under attending physicians and provide personalized patient care to all ages.
