Always safe. Always open. Always ready.
At Bayhealth, the safety of our patients and team members is always the highest priority. Here are some of the guidelines in place to ensure safety remains our top priority.
Screenings
Everyone who enters our hospitals and medical facilities is screened for COVID-19 symptoms and potential exposure. Our screeners will check your temperature and ask you specific questions related to your health and possible exposure. Patients seeking emergency medical care will not be screened.
If your temperature is high, or you don’t pass the screening process, you will not be allowed to enter our facilities.
Social Distancing
Everyone who enters our facilities is expected to adhere to social distancing and remain six feet away from others whenever possible. All who enter our facilities are required to wear a mask or approved face covering.
We have also added plexiglass and rearranged furniture, as necessary, to further allow for social distancing.
Cleaning
Enhanced cleaning and disinfection processes, as well as other disease specific infection control measures based on the current CDC guidelines, continue to be used throughout Bayhealth’s facilities. These cleaning measures occur around-the-clock with our dedicated and highly-trained environmental team members.
Virtual Visits
For some appointments, your medical provider may schedule a virtual visit.
Your medical team will make sure you have everything you need to have a successful appointment.
All telehealth appointments are conducted through our patient portal – MyChart – which gives patients access to all of their health information including appointment summaries and health reminders.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
For more information on what to expect as a patient at a specific office or service center, contact that location directly. Patients will also be given more specific instructions when they schedule their appointment.
