Cardiology Consultants Welcomes Ahmad

Bayhealth Cardiology Consultants, Milford is pleased to announce the addition of cardiologist Mussaber Ahmad, DO. He joins fellow physicians Laeeq Ahmer, MDHarjinder Grewal, MDE. Mark Johnson, MDRaymond Miller, MDPedro Perez, MDDavid Ramos, MDRoberto Scaffidi, MDJohn Shuck, MD; and Manjeet Singh, DO. The practice is accepting new patients.

The practice is part of the Bayhealth Medical Group, a partnership of highly trained physicians, their clinical staff, and an administrative support team that operates practices throughout central and southern Delaware. Dr. Ahmad will primarily see patients in Milford.

“Dr. Ahmad is a welcome addition to our team and I look forward to working with him. His training and experience in cardiac electrophysiology will serve an important need in our area for patients suffering from heart rhythm disturbances,” said Dr. Shuck.

Dr. Ahmad comes to Bayhealth from Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Pennsylvania, where he was an attending physician in cardiac electrophysiology.

He earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital.

Dr. Ahmad went on to complete a fellowship in general cardiology at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and two clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowships—at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts and University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.

Dr. Ahmad is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Heart Rhythm Society.
